The World Health Day is held to mark World Health Organization's founding and is seen as an opportunity by the organization to draw worldwide attention to a particular subject of major importance to global health each year. World Health Day is acknowledged by various forums and organizations with interests in public health, who also organize activities and highlight their support towards this endeavor of WHO. Aravali Hospital also celebrated World Health Day with cake cutting and much fanfare. Dr Sangeeta Gupta, Director-Operations, Aravali Group of Hospitals was the chief guest during the event.
