Dr Anand Gupta, MD-Aravali Hospital was felicitated by the Rotary Club-Meera for his outstanding contribution to the society in the field of medical care on the occasion of National Doctors' Day. National Doctors' Day is celebrated all across India on the 1st of July every year to commemorate the birthday and the death anniversary of the legendary physician Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy, a doctor par excellence, who was also the second chief minister of the state of West Bengal. The Doctors' Day celebrations are held to re-emphasize the role doctors play in the lives of the masses and as a tribute to their relentless striving for excellence and selfless service to mankind, despite overbearing odds.
