Diabetes is termed as a silent killer and to raise awareness of this disease, diabetes awareness week was initiated at Pacific Medical College and Hospital, Bhilon Ka Bedla, Udaipur and on 14th November at the valedictory ceremony of the same, Dr Anand Gupta, President-Indian Medical Association, Udaipur and MD-Aravali Group of Hospitals, was the Guest of Honour. Dr Gupta while addressing the august audience said that defective lifestyle has given rise to cases of diabetes and indulging in better lifestyle can lead to drop in cases of diabetes drastically.
