An awareness and preventive talk show on the pandemic corona virus was held for the students and teachers of the primary sections of DPS school Udaipur on 6th March 2020. During the talk show, Dr SS Mehta, senior consultant- Aravali Hospital Udaipur told the students the dos and don't to be followed in combating the virus. Dr Mehta stressed on the need for the students to go back to the basics of personal hygiene and to follow them scrupulously. He asked the students and teachers to greet others using Namaskaar instead of shaking hands, keeping a handkerchief, using of camphor and lighting it during daily poojas and to wash hands as per the 10 step WHO recommendation. He also told all present that the best way to thwart the effects of the Corona Virus is to strengthen one's immunity and incorporate best hygiene practices in one's daily life.
